Jorge Rodríguez Sánchez, CFA
Jorge holds a BS in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, awarded by BANESTO for the Best Final Project on Information and Communication Technologies applied to the Banking Sector. He also holds an MS in Economics and Finance from CEMFI (Bank of Spain) and he is also a CFA Charterholder. With more than 10 years of professional experience he is Manager at Telefónica, being responsible for designing and executing hedging strategies to manage FX and IR risks. To this end, he is also responsible for the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques in Finance. Previously he has worked as an Economic Analyst and as an Engineer.
María José Merino García
María José is a Data Scientist at Telefónica, where she has been responsible for developing and implementing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to optimize financial strategies since late 2021. She holds a BS in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Jaén, where she received the BS Extraordinary Award. She furthered her education with an MS in Telecommunications Engineering and an MS in Signal Theory and Communications, focusing on Signal Processing and Machine Learning for Big Data, both from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
Jaime Enríquez Ballesteros
Jaime holds a MS in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a BS in Computer Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is currently a Data Scientist in IKEA, developing solutions for the retail industry based on Machine learning and AI. He has previously worked as a Data Scientist at Telefónica, focusing his efforts in financial Machine learning.
